Why pre-commissioning cleanings matter
Tradespeople leave conductive contaminants and debris in the newly constructed areas of the plant. If not cleaned to manufacture spec before going live a simple missed shaving can cost hundreds of thousand in switchgear components and even more in down time. We are trusted to comb through the details most overlook to help offer an effective, safe and clean datacenter to the end user.
We go in before the building is turned on and clean everything to spec. Here’s how we do it:
HEPA filters on every vacuum
Fine dust and shavings are captured, not blown into equipment.
No sweeping
Sweeping moves metal debris around. We remove it.
Cleaned to the manufacturer’s spec
Each room is cleaned to the standard the Equiptment requires, often avoiding any solvents that have conductive properties and towels that leave residue.
Documented every day
Up to two general reports are offered. One to highlight what was done based on regular requests and scope of work and a second to help retrieve money from trades that came back requiring us to redo the work so that your company is provided with a means of collecting charge backs.
Where we fit on your project
The data center owner hires a builder. The builder brings us in as a subcontractor. Projects run in three phases, and our crew is on site for phases 2 and 3, right before commissioning.

Every hour an electrician spends cleaning is an hour billed at electrician rates, plus per diem. Our crew takes the cleanup off their hands, so they stay on electrical work.

Metal debris is cleaned to spec before energizing, which protects equipment and your schedule. Every hour we spend cleaning up behind another trade is logged in Procore, so you can back-charge it.

The first morning on site
One of our owners walks the site with your team. We go over the spec, the areas, and anything that needs special attention before the crew starts.

Once an area is complete, we ask you to walk it with us. If anything doesn't meet spec, we fix it right away.
